Despite the complexity of deliberations over Parisian works by Saryan which are based mainly on photo sessions, some conclusions are still possible. The nature of France and Paris didn't attract Saryan as an artist. Residing far from his homeland, he still lives under impression of Armenia and Transcaucasia... New Armenian landscapes are less decorative but the laconism and sharp contrast of light and shadow link them to old paintings.

In these more impressionistic landscapes, Saryan obviously differs from French painters since the nature and city life are represented not as an instant coincidence but rather in a habitual state as they are.
