”The life of the nature is amazing and mysterious. A seed germinates in the soil, grows, blossoms in the right time,

breeds seed again… that’s why it doesn’t pass away. A human being is also like that. He does not pass away

because he is the nature. To cognize it means to cognize immortality”, said Saryan. Life of a human continues in his

siblings. Saryan’s younger son, Lazar Saryan, was a composer, a distinguoshed representative of the modern

Armenian chamber and symphonic music. The painter’s granddaughters, Rouzan and Sophie, are presently in

charge of the Martiros Saryan House-Museum. Saryan’s great-grandchildren, Anna and Ghazaros, have devoted

themselves to painting.
